Caleb is a fabulous, affable, sweet 2-year old boy who came to rescue after fending for himself on the streets. He was very underweight and had mange, but luckily he is heartworm negative. After getting some good groceries and meds for his skin, Caleb's personality is shining through!  He loves to play!  He will play with humans or any size dogs!  When playtime is over, he is content to lay on the floor and do his imitation of a throw rug.
 
Caleb loves everyone and meets them politely.  As soon as you meet him, you will also fall in love.  He does well at social gatherings of people and animals – greeting people and lazily watching dogs go by.  We even watched one Pyr sit right on top of his head at an adoption event, and Caleb didn’t mind at all.  He has not been tested with cats, but based on his willingness to please, it would only take one corrective word from you to let him know he should be nice to the felines. He is a tall boy with a “perpetual puppy head” – big, domed, and fluffy.  His gorgeous coat is coming back in nicely. Caleb will need a home with at least one other dog buddy to play with, or a dedicated adopter willing to help him use up some of his boundless energy. He's been neutered and has all his shots, he is housebroken, and he is fine on leash.  He is ready to find his forever home!  Will it be yours?
