Prepare to fall in love and be inspired. This is Wes, just a little over a year. If dogs could talk, he could tell some terrible stories. His x-rays say enough. He is littered with buckshot pellets from multiple firings. There are too many to remove them all. And yet this baby is still as happy as ever with all the energy of a pup. He seems to know his second chance is right here and he is not going to let it go.
When he was picked up from the shelter, he was full of the wiggles. He has an unstoppable wagging tail. Even when he is sprawled out for a rest, his happy tail gives him away. He is full of joy. He is adjusting well in his foster home where he is making good friends with his foster dog siblings, while ignoring the resident cats. He is a gentleman with very nice manners. He knows to use the pet door for business or just to enjoy some sunshine.
He is very much a people dog and likes to share space with his beloved humans. He has droopy eyes and jowls of a St. Bernard which make him super hug and kissable.
After all Wes has survived, only the gentlest, kindest, most loving need apply. Foster Mom is determined to get him into the PYRfect home. He is going to melt your heart.
