Here is DQ who can use some big love PDQ! This poor puppy, just over 3 months, was found in an abandoned barn. She was covered in more creepy crawlies than you could shake a stick at. But she was in the hands of a most caring vet staff who got her all cleaned up. Her x-rays tell us she had been shot as she was running away from her pursuer. No matter how many times you read about it, it is always so shocking to learn of such cruelty. Never mind. All that matters is DQ is no longer running for her life. She is receiving tip top love and attention. She’s had that nasty bullet removed and has made a remarkable recovery.
DQ spent her first many days in her foster home cowering in a crate. But a major breakthrough took place when she came out to initiate a play with her female foster Pyr sibling. They have become good friends. It is a must that she find a home already equipped with a seasoned dog who can guide her through doggy world. And the healthier she gets, the more trusting she becomes. This once very shy girl now loves her ear scratches and belly rubs.
DQ has come a long way in a short period of time. She will need a home fully dedicated to her continued recovery. Being a puppy, she needs someone home much of the time. Being a puppy with such a tragic history, she needs someone with tons of love to shower upon her. She is a brave girl. Her spirit is strong. She made it here for a reason. To find you.
