Meet Frey! This beautiful, petite (60 lb) Great Pyrenees girl was named after Glenn Frey, the legendary singer, songwriter, and actor. She was born around 01/31/2014.
For the past year, Frey has been living with a very loving family. Their child developed severe dander allergies, so they made the heartbreaking yet essential decision to find Frey a new home.
Frey is a very sweet dog who comes running when called, is very well behaved, house trained, and crate trained. She is not much of one to play with toys, but definitely needs something to chew on when left alone. She is very calm and cuddly when indoors, and loves chasing away birds and squirrels when outdoors.
Frey plays well with dogs of all sizes, but especially loves to cuddle and receive belly rubs from her humans. She would do well as an only dog or with furry companion to keep her company and chase around the yard. She can be unaware of her own size sometimes, so take caution when around smaller children. Although she can be willful at times (like most Pyrenees), she is a wonderful, sweet, and loving dog.
She has a calm energy and adapts easily to a new environment. After patrolling the backyard fence and barking once or twice to let the neighborhood know there’s a new sheriff in town, she will come back inside when called and find a soft spot for her daytime nap.
One thing for certain, Frey loves human companionship. She is very good at finding her way to be close to you so she can place her head perfectly under your hands making it is easier for you to pet her - silly and determined girl. Frey is going to give someone the best of her love. That lucky recipient might very well be you.
