Dear Saint--Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life. No dog should ever be treated the way you were. You don't have to be able to speak to tell us what happened. Your thin frame says you have been so hungry. Your mange covered body and ear infections tell us you have been in terrible discomfort and pain. We know no one cared while you suffered. At 4 years old you have been through a lot. But here you are now receiving medical attention and lots of love. You have learned to walk on the leash and sleep in your crate, even though you don’t like it. You are housetrained and get along with other dogs and cats. You are very easy going, a “whatever you want” type of guy. You enjoy your canine companions and will run and play outside with them. But if someone is home most of the time you would be ok as an only dog..

And all you've ever asked for in return is a head scratch and petting. We can do that and more, Saint. Your person is out there somewhere. We will know when it is right. And you will never be lonely or hurt again. Yours Faithfully.
