Meet Charity (nicknamed Cherry), our little special needs girl. She came in to the program in mid-January after being hit by a car. She had a broken front left leg, torn ACL in rear right leg, and a dislocated hip in left rear hip. After 3 surgeries, she went to a foster home for rehab. She was just rechecked by our wonderful vet and has been released to be adopted to a forever home.
Though the whole ordeal, Charity  has maintained her wonderful happy personality. She is 2 years old,  crate trained, and totally housebroken. And she loves to come up to you to be petted.

She is special needs. Some requirements: (1) No other large dogs. (2) Very small dogs should be fine. (3) No small kids (4) She has problems getting around on slick floors so either carpeting or rubber backed mats will be required. (5) No stairs. (6) She needs to continue to get moderate exercise to build up the muscles in her rear end. So someone who likes to go on short walks would be perfect. (7) She must remain on the thin side. The vet thinks her current weight, 58#, is perfect for her. Most of all, she will need a human that understands she will need to continue building her muscles to improve her walking. She loves to walk and be outside barking at the squirrels, and she loves to cuddle and get pets! Please consider this special little girl. She has been through a lot in her short life and is ready to enjoy being loved by her very own person.  We promise you that your love will be returned many times over.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
