Please take time to meet Willow, a sweet puppy of 6 months who was rescued as a stray with her mother and one other litter mate. Willow had only known the protection of her mother when they were discovered and picked up by a kind family who spotted them on the road and coaxed them into the car. They were taken in, fed and nurtured and ultimately put in the care of SPIN’s fosters with the promise of finding the best homes for them. Little Willow was so skinny, it didn’t seem as though she would survive. But with the care shown to her by her foster family, she has begun to flourish. Foster Mom says, “Willow is delicate as a whisper.” A sweet, cautious girl. She is learning how to play with toys and her foster furry siblings. She doesn’t mind spending a little time outdoors for some fresh air, but mostly she loves being in the house all day and lounging with her humans. Willow would do best in a quiet household where her human is home for most of the day, and with a calm male canine companion who is a little older than she is so she can learn how to be a confident dog. She is a beauty, proudly sporting her double dew claws. She is a smart girl and is already house trained and walking well on her leash. She is a growing girl who has seen heartache. It will take a very special person to successfully lead her where Foster Mom’s duties end. She is a precious little girl learning of human kindness. She will never forget it was you who believed in her and she is going to be your loving life-long best friend.
