Introducing Miss Allie. A gorgeous 2 year old Great Pyrenees looking for a new home. Allie comes to SPIN with an impressive resume which includes goat protecting. Although she is not a livestock guardian dog, she spent a lot of time outside in her early days with the resident goats, who she watched over with vigilance along with her friend and buddy. She is very used to having a companion and would need to find another to spend her days with.
Allie has also spent time living indoors and is house trained and equipped with good manners. She is a very good leash walker. She is very bright and knows “wait, sit, and down” by voice commands as well as hand signals. She is a pretty girl who loves a good brushing to keep her coat shiny and beautiful.
Allie loves her humans and is protective of them. She should have slow introductions with strangers as she did not have many opportunities in social settings outside of her first home. She has no experience with little children or cats.  However, older, considerate children would be fine. Allie would be happiest in a home with a large yard where she can run and play, keeping up with her exercise. Someone with Great Pyrenees experience will be the right match for Allie. She is a wonderful dog with much love to give and deserves to finds someone equally as wonderful to share her life with.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
