This is Finn, short for Finnegan which rhymes with “begin again”. And that is exactly why he is with SPIN. Lucky for him he landed a great spot in his foster home where his Foster Mom is dedicated to teaching him all sorts of new life lessons. He is a good student so far. Finn was born approximately December 2013. He came with a necklace of burrs and sat still while his Foster Mom cut them all out, even the ones that were stuck to his skin on his belly and was a good boy while getting a bath. He is a backyard stick lover, and is great at chasing, not so great at bringing it back!  He needs to have a dog companion to play with and to help him learn the ropes. He is learning how to walk on a leash and will need a crate if left for extended periods of time since he has some anxiety and gets a bit chewy on things.  Finn is a sweet, lovable boy and being the teenager he is, he is very curious and gets into a lot of things that are left out and a bit of a digger.  He loves to walk and can usually go a couple of miles before he slows down.  He is friendly with other dogs and good with children. He is submissive and gentle and he will need much love, and a little training to help him along the right path. He is a big, beautiful boy that would be a welcomed addition in any home.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!  For the most current information and pictures, don't miss our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/SPINrescue
