Marrs is a gorgeous pyrenees mix about 2 years old trying to find his way home. He has been bounced around a bit and is going to need to find a home with great patience as he settles and comes out of his shell. Not that he is particularly shy, but he does have an air of aloofness often associated with the Great Pyrenees breed. Lovers of Great Pyrs know this “aloofness” is really independence, one of their most notable traits. Even in his young age, he is not especially playful and would probably do very well as an only pet. Once comfortable and sure, he is very affectionate with his adult humans. He likes to sit on the couch with his head in your lap for pets. He is not the type to bowl you over for a giant hug. He is more reserved and respectful of your space.
Maars should be in a home where someone is often present. He is still finding his footing in his unpredictable world. He is low energy and would be a wonderful pet for a retired couple or person or with older children. Give this boy a chance. His heart is so precious. It is just a little lost right now. But there is someone out there who is a pyrfect match for him and they are going to have a wonderful life together.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!  For the most current information and pictures, don't miss our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/SPINrescue
