Please meet the very tender hearted yet tenacious Adam, a 1 ½ year old Great Pyrenees who is looking for love. This poor boy spent his whole life in a backyard with very little attention paid to him. He had some shelter but no love. None. It was when he caught the eye of a neighbor that things started to change for the better. This said neighbor started really paying attention and found not only was he lonely, he was hungry. She began feeding him through the fence and showing him love. Thus a friendship was born. She continued to greet him and feed him daily. Her affection was well received. And he too won his new friend over. He is extremely sweet and gentle. As this bond grew, she knew she could not stand to watch Adam face another cold winter on his own. There was no argument when she offered to take Adam and she set out to find a way to get him into the home of his dreams. That’s when she found Spin, who opened their heart and took him in.
Adam is now doing so well in a loving environment where he is treated with kindness and compassion. Adam has adjusted wonderfully to his new routine.  He loves playing outside with his foster siblings a couple of times a day, and loves spending the rest of his time curled up on the couch with his humans. He is getting daily leashed walking and likes to go at a brisk pace. He will be a great exercise partner. It is so wonderful to watch him come out of his shell. He is already so handsome and when he gets some weight on him he is going to be stunning. Adam is a tall boy. Born approximately June 2014. This playful, friendly boy is good with kids, adults, dogs of all sizes, and even cats!  He loves playing with other dogs and leaps about like a deer. He likes wading in the pond and creek, so he might enjoy a swimming pool. Adam is sweet and affectionate, and will make a great addition to any loving family. Neglected no more, Adam is finally on the right path. He was always meant to be someone’s companion. Someone’s very best friend.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
