Introducing Leia, approximately 2 years of age, picked up as a stray but always meant to be a princess. Upon her rescue, Leia was so frightened she could barely walk. But in the security of her loving foster home, an entirely new dog as emerged.
With that first nice bath and a taste of good food, Leia knew she was finally on the right path. It didn’t take long for her to come out of her shell and show just how sweet she is. She learned quickly when feeding time is and wakes Foster Mom up promptly each day with kisses and then patiently sits and waits for breakfast. She is fully equipped with the “pyr paw” and is not afraid to use it. She is very affectionate and loves to be loved on. She is a good girl and can be trusted uncrated in the home. And when Foster Mom and Dad get back she excitedly greets them at the door, romping around ready for a play. She adores her 8 year old Great Pyr foster sibling who sweetly shares his couch with her. She is not looking to be alpha, just accepted and she would do well to have a two legged or four legged companion
This is a great girl getting healthier and prettier every day. With her best interest at heart, her Foster family is determined to help this princess find the castle of her dreams.
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
