Introducing Henry, a Great Pyrenees, born approximately October 2013, who is chock-full of “pyr”sonality. Henry came to rescue a neglected boy, both underweight and heartworm positive, for which he is now being treated. Regardless, he has smiles for everyone, especially those devoted to putting weight on him. He is friendly and gentle, a very loving dog. He can be mischievous, then appropriately contrite. He loves to be scratched behind his ears and gives gentle kisses.
He is fostered in a home with dogs of different sizes and does well with them and ignores cats. He would love a permanent companion to run and wrestle with but would also do well as an only dog with someone committed to providing him exercise and play. He walks well on his leash and enjoys a nice stroll with his human. Henry requires a 6 ft wooden fence. Since being rescued, Foster Mom has been helping him with his house manners and he has the whole “housetrained” thing down pat.
Henry is a real sweetheart boy. He is an open book waiting to be chosen and cherished. Just look at all those expressions in his photos. You will never have to wonder what he is thinking.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
