Make room for a Rumor. This 1 ½ year old girl has really had a tough time of it. She came to rescue so underweight you could see her bones. She was covered in mange with horrible skin infections and hair so thin it was completely bald in spots. But since her rescue she has received good food and lots of love to grow on. If left in the shelter, she surely would not have lived very many more days. Thanks to the good people in rescue, Rumor received much needed treatment and was soon on the road to recovery. Once a heartbreaking sight, she is now a sight for sore eyes. She has put on some much needed weight. Her hair has grown back and her coat is soft and starting to thicken. She is blossoming into a real beauty.
Foster Mom describes her as a “sweet and loving little lady with a playful personality.” She is finally getting to enjoy her puppyhood in a safe environment. And she has wasted no time getting adjusted to a much better way of life. She loves playing with her furry foster siblings. Chilling around the house with her humans is nice but when she is outside she is ready for action. She would be so happy to have another dog to romp around with.
Despite the neglect she suffered in the past, Rumor just loves everybody. She is eager to please and always comes when she is called which is pretty unusual for a Great Pyr. She is a real sweetheart, trusting and gentle. She has been great with the kids in her foster home as well. She is going to be a wonderful family dog. When you come home she is the first one to greet you and gets so excited that you are back. She also gives kisses which many Pyrs don’t do. And along with her kisses she will be sure to slobber on you which is the ultimate compliment any Pyr can give. Foster Mom has such a love for Rumor and says, “The best thing about Rumor is that even when she was skinny, scaly and hairless, she had the most wonderful and loving personality.” This girl has been through it all just to get to you. She was meant to be spoiled and loved to the moon and back.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!  For the most current information and pictures, don't miss our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/SPINrescue
