Introducing Shiloh, a 1 year old beautiful Golden Pyrenees who makes up for her smallish size with heaps personality. Shiloh’s start in life was uncertain. As a puppy she, her 3 siblings and mother were cruelly dumped on the highway. They had been left to fend for themselves when a good Samaritan discovered them and got them to safety. In the early days of her new beginnings, she was the most timid and shy of the pack. She would actually go outside the doggy door and poke only her head back inside and “safely” watch her mother and litter mates get loved on. Eventually she mustered up the courage to ask Foster Mom for some attention by surprising her with a nudge to the leg. And that, as they say, was all she wrote. Shiloh is proof that lots of love and a few treats (Foster Mom’s secret weapon) can go a long way. Her confidence has grown leaps and bounds. She has learned all sorts of good manners, is now crate and house trained and has improved greatly on her leash walking. She is a talented counter surfer, don’t we all have a vice? She is sweet, loving and very playful and likes meeting new people. She does well with other dogs big and small and does not assert herself as alpha. No cats if you please. She enjoys the outdoors and loves going for car rides. She considers herself a lap dog and will gladly cuddle up with her human as she loves one on one attention. She boasts a beautiful white and gold coat that requires lots of pets. Don’t worry, she will remind you. This girl is going to make a wonderful family pet. Shiloh has put that rocky start behind her and with her Foster’s love and guidance, she has made great strides and is ready for her very own happily ever after.
