Lili was retrieved from a local Animal Shelter in poor shape, and in the 3 years with her adoptive family, they have never seen such a loving and grateful dog. She's 90 lbs, and was probably born in 2006 or 2007. They are most reluctant to return her but have no choice in view of their circumstances. She's laid back in temperament, and will bark when outside if she sees other dogs walk past the front yard. In Pyr language, it's an invitation to play. She gets along well with dogs and cats. She will accept any person or animal that is welcomed by the owner. As the picture shows, she played mother to this 3 lb puppy just a few hours after being introduced. She was in a puppy mill at one time and then tossed on the street. Her teeth had been filed down, but she's still able to chew on a tasty bone. She's a friend in the truest sense of the word, and a better companion is unimaginable. She very healthy and should provide many more years of real joy to any dog lover. She epitomizes all those qualities we seek in a canine companion.
