DOB 7/1/11 Gabe is a BIG boy at 105# but with a little bit of the toddler in him; he doesn't chew up your things but he might clear off your table for you.  He does have a shy streak - he is afraid of men initially but will become used to a man who is good to him over time.  He is also a little fearful of young children whom he sees as unpredictable, and so should go to a home without small children.  (He is not in any way aggressive - he just goes off and hides.)  He really likes older women and would also prefer to have another dog around to keep from becoming very lonely, preferably a female.  He is a wonderful dog and will make an excellent companion for someone. It is not hard to see from the pictures, that he knows how to be cool on a hot day so he would not mind it if his pyrmanent home had a pool.  When he is wet enough he lies down on the steps of the pool.
