This is Maverick, a “been there done that” kind of guy who, at the age of 12, is looking to retire in the comfort of his very own home with his very own family. Maverick absolutely loves hanging with his humans and car rides are a favorite. When he is not out sight-seeing, he is content to keep you company in his quiet way. Foster Mom says, "Maverick is a sweet old boy, a breathing warm pillow, footstool that will love you, whatever you want from a sedate older Great Pyrenees.” Foster Mom also refers to him as “Mount Maverick” after a rescue puppy she brought home discovered him and without hesitation climbed right on top of him for a rest. Sweet Maverick decided that was just fine with him. Most everything is. If you have room in your heart for a boy with a short “to do” list, consider sharing your home with this handsome boy. He so deserves a family name that will stick and to be loved and cared about.
