Miss Opal is a true delicate beauty with big eyes and huge ears that move in tune to her every thought.  She was born in early April of 2013 and is growing fast.  A DNA test shows that all of her ancesters were equally border collies and Great Pyrenees dogs on both sides.  Her border collie heritage is apparent in her energy level which is high - she is so excited when she gets to come in that she hardly knows where to run first, but soon she settles down to play with a toy or climb up next to her human for what could be hours of cuddling and watching TV.  She has learned what the doggie door is for and uses it, knows several commands and cannot do them fast enough!  Her heart's desire is to please her people.  She is somewhat submissive with the larger Great Pyrenees dogs but plays happily and without any jealousy with other dogs, especially her sister Ruby.

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
