King was born approximately 8 of 2011 and came in as a stray living off the streets of South Dallas. Even before he got cleaned up it was obvious this was going to be one beautiful boy and a very loyal dog! Since King was forced to scavenge for food, he is very thin at 79 lbs and will be closer to 100 lbs at his ideal weight. King loves getting petted, brushed, and hugged on - something he'd never had the chance to experience until he was rescued! He's very calm and seems like he is going to be a bit of a couch potato. Even though King is still getting used to indoor living - he has excellent manners! He's known to go outside to use the bathroom since day 1, doesn't jump on the furniture, hasn't chewed anything, and rarely barks (although he has a very cute bark that makes his foster mom smile!). He's doing great with his four doggy brothers and sisters. Who wouldn't love to have this handsome boy come greet them with a wagging tail when they come home?!  

Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
