Achilles is estimated to have been born in 2005, so he is a senior, weighs 80 lbs. He was an owner surrender from an individual who had become disabled and had difficulty caring for the large dogs. Achilles is a calm, sweet gentleman and a joy to have around. He gets along with all dogs, big and small, and often plays and romps like a much younger boy. He likes people as well. He is well-behaved, house broken, and knows quite a few commands. He LOVES belly rubs and having his ears scratched! Achilles really likes car rides, and sometimes likes to ride in the front seat (I guess he likes looking out the window)! We hope he does not try to shift the gears! His loud, deep bark can be a comfort, and his smiling face and wagging tail, even more so!
