Despite all that sweet Maggie has been through in her short life (approximate date of birth, January 2012), she is such a friendly and happy puppy! She is good with all dogs and people of all ages, greeting everyone with a smile and wagging tail! Maggie loves attention and as with most Pyrs, will let you know when she would like her belly rubbed, her ears scratched or head patted by giving you a gentle "Pyr paw".
Maggie is completely house-trained and will go to the door to ask to be let out; if you happen to be heading outside for another reason, she will join you and happily take advantage of the unexpected opportunity to go potty. In the short time she has been with her foster family she has learned to sit, the meaning of the words treat, potty, bed, walk and - most importantly - her name! She gets very excited when she sees her leash and is learning how to walk nicely using a gentle lead halter. Maggie is very smart and wants to please! Maggie is very quiet, rarely making noise, and is easily redirect-able. She is crate trained but would prefer to stretch out next to a friend (human or otherwise). She gets a little anxious when she watches someone walk out of the house and she is left alone. She has been known to climb over a baby gate to get to her humans. Maggie is getting better as she learns that they always come back. :-) Maggie needs to be on a grain free food as she has allergies to grains. Maggie deserves a loving family who will appreciate her affectionate nature and will help her become the best puppy she can be!" Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
