Emily was born around March of 2011 and is just leaving puppy stage. She ignores cats and is well-behaved with people, indoors, in a crate, and outdoors. She is a little reticent in interactions with humans right now, however, and we believe she may have had very little human interaction in her previous home. She will soon learn how wonderful it is to be petted and hugged. She likes to sit up on her haunches with the front feet up as though she is pleading or praying - an adorable position for a big dog, and this seems to take the place of actually jumping up on a human. She eats in her crate and is happy to spend a small amount of time in the crate. She is a gentle, obedient and sweet girl who very much needs a family that will glive her lots of interaction and love.
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
