Frosty is a serious love-bug -- wants to be right by your side and presses into you for attention. She is timid meeting new dogs, but once she decides they're not going to attack her (which was apparently something she was dealing wtih at her last home), then she warms up and will play with dogs of all sizes as soon as she feels comfortable with them. Her date of birth is around March of 2011 and for a dog that may have reached its adult size, she is quite petite, perhaps 60 pounds or so. The habits she has that could be a little trying are first, that she is quite persistent in asking for attention but might be less so once she settles into a home, and second she does like to stand on her hind legs to see what is on the counters or just get closer to her human's face to beg for attention or reassurance. With a little bit of training and reassurance she could be a perfect inside family dog.
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
