Amelia’s DOB is around 3/20/2012. Her coat is long and white and she has double-dews on both back feet, plus the speckled nose and tummy all Pyr lovers like to see. Amelia is VERY sweet. She loves attention and will ask for it. She’s a little bit excitable – sometimes wants to jump up to get attention, but we never encourage that. She is completely house-trained, but likes to go into her crate from time to time, just to nap or to look for food. She is safe around goats and chickens, and kittens. She has learned that she can get some fresh goat milk straight from the source, and she LOVES that! She is also VERY playful and needs to go to a home where she will have at least one other dog to play with. Amelia is still in that puppy chewing stage, so she needs to be supplied with plenty of chews. We are working on leash-training. Her foster mom would love for her to be adopted along with her BFF Sally Ride although they are not litter-mates.
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
