About Piper

  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: White
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Piper is a bonnie wee pyr lassie; born about April 2012.  Unlike most of our dogs, she is in a foster home in southwest Missouri.  She is white with blond highlights on her ears. At 5 months of age she already weighs 35 lbs. and will likely be very large.  She is crate trained and house broken.  When it is nap time she heads for the comfort of her crate.  Leash training and basic obedience are in progress.  In true puppy fashion nothing within reach is safe from her jaws.  Loves chewing on empty water bottles, sticks and rope toys but her favorite activity is playing in the wading pool.  She is a water puppy.  When the pool was put away to keep her dry after her spay, she made do with the drinking bucket and dived in head first.  Piper can be very sedate while leaning against you and soaking up affection.  She loves to be petted, brushed and have her tummy rubbed.  Piper gets along very well with her foster family dogs and cats.   She enjoys being with other dogs and likely would do best in a home with another dog for company.   Piper is a beauty and will make some lucky family a great companion.

All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
