Phoebe is a mixed pup with a heavy Pyrenees ancestry; born about April 2012.  She is being fostered in SW Missouri, unlike most of our other dogs.  She is blonde with a slightly lighter colored mask.  At 5 months she weighed in at 30 lbs. but will probably not be as big as other pyrs.  This is one smart cookie.  She is first to investigate and figure out new things.  She learned to sit and walk on a leash in just a few tries.  She learned to open the cage at the vet’s office after her surgery and exited so she didn’t have to be alone.   She is a good watch dog and is alert for any different activity in the neighborhood.  She has found her bark and tells the intruding rabbits that she is on the job.   Playing in the puppy pool is high on her list of favorite things.  She stands in the water and digs, splashing water out behind her.  She is playful and clownish and enjoys the company of her foster family dogs.  She also likes to chase birds in the air.  Phoebe is an affection sponge; she soaks in as much attention as you will give her but gives it all right back to you.  One look in her loving face and heart’s melt.  Phoebe will be a lifelong friend, protector and entertainer to her adopting family.
