Meet Rhett. He was born around August of 2011 and is a pyr mix.  He has several attributes of a pyr, but a little shorter coat and he is quite a bit smaller, what we call a "pocket pyr".  He is an absolute sweetheart but is very energetic and could use some obedience training in addition to the rudimentary training he is getting now -perhaps like his namesake Rhett Butler.  He will need to be with at least one other canine playmate to play rope bone tug with but he does chase cats. He loves children and we hear he has even protected one from possibly being bitten by another dog,  Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
