Tootsie was born in mid-January of 2012 and is becoming a tall, slender, elegant girl.  She has a beautiful white wavy coat, very long legs, and is a brave, smart, curious and somewhat challenging  puppy.  Daily thoughts:  "What's that up on the refrigerator?, can I move the chair and climb up on the counter?  how can I get through the fence and play with THOSE dogs? What does that thing taste like?"  She loves her humans and wants to know all about everything that has their touch on it.   Though camera shy, she is not hesitant to ask for human affection and may gradually schmooze right up into your lap.  If you rub her ears just right she groans with pleasure.  She gets along well with other dogs, often takes her turn at the midnight barking patrol and enjoys being outside as well as inside.   She is housebroken but needs lots of chewy toys and probably plenty of supervision until she outgrows puppy hijinks.  She obeys commands fairly well and tries really hard to be a good girl, but when you are not in the room her curiosity just takes over.  She is not a jumper but definitely can climb and wriggle through small spaces.  We know she will calm down as she matures.  We love her, really we do.   Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
