Meet Rooney! This affectionate Great Pyrenees was born around 10/10/2010. The black eyeliner around her left eye is partly missing, so she looks like she left the house without finishing her makeup. So adorable! Her fabulous dense undercoat requires daily brushing to keep her gorgeous.
Beautiful Miss Rooney loves people of all ages. She is great with kids. Her favorite thing is to lie on her side and get belly rubs! Sometimes she’ll let you know how happy she is by vocalizing, “Awwwwah, HHHmmmmm, arrahh, arrahh,” then she puts her paws over her eyes like she’s shy. So cute!
She is a dream on a loose leash; she likes a steady, quick pace. If you go at her pace, she’ll have you jogging for 25 minutes, and cooling down for five! She has no need to stop and sniff things; she just wants to get to where you’re going.
Rooney Tooney gets along with other dogs. She is learning to play “Tag, You’re It!” with them, and lives alongside them just fine. She ignores the cats in her foster home.
She has a deep, impressive bark, and she loves to use it! She lets you know when there’s something to warn you about. She can be quite the barker at night while you’re trying to sleep, so if you let her in the bedroom, she finds no more need to vocalize.
Rooney Tunes is hoping for a family that spends lots of time with her and takes her everywhere they go. She loves loading up in the car.
She is so easy to have around, you’ll love her instantly. She is a super sweet, happy girl.
