George Washington (adopter gets to pick which name they like best) was rescued by SPIN pretty close to the birthday of our first President and he absolutely deserves the honor of his name.  GW is a happy, playful. friendly and beautiful fellow born about April of 2011.  His coat is long and unusually fluffy so he will be shedding and needing some grooming regularly - a very rewarding pasttime as he thoroughly enjoys the attention.  His manners are still just at the older puppy stage but house manners look promising so far.  He has no issues with other dogs, may be a little too active for very young children, but he will settle down as he matures.  For now, he would like to have another dog or some children to play with in a home of his own.  Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
