Bonded Pair with Napoleon:  Need to to adopted together.
Pierre is a 5-year-old (in Feb 2012) neutered, male, full-blood Pyre. He was born Feb 2007. He is a big boy. He weighs 180 lbs and has a large frame. He's pure white and gets a very full soft coat in the winter. He loves to sleep and prefers to be inside where there's some activity. He loves his walks but is much more laid back when he's out and he lets his buddy Napoleon lead the way.  He loves children and other dogs and is very good at dog parks and when being socialized.  He's great while walking and is happy to stop and say hello to other dogs and children.
He's very inquisitive and can open any gate unless it's securely locked. He can also open doors and let himself in if you have the right handle. He won't dig under a fence but unless it's strong and tall he will try to lean against it to see if it'll give way.
If you're looking for a bear of a dog: Pierre's the one. He loves being brushed and bathed but is sensitive about his feet being groomed and his nails being clipped.
He is not destructive, doesn't counter surf or bother anything inside. He prefers to lie on the floor and not on the couch, which is a good thing at 180 lbs.
He is a bonded pair with Napoleon. He was nurtured by him and they've been buddies all Pierre's life.
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
