Cherie is French for "Beloved" and she is absolutely beloved. Beautiful both outside and in her soul, Cherie loves humans and is just fine with any other dog that is not aggressive. She clings to her human, could walk with them forever anywhere, anytime. We estimate her year of birth to be around 2008 or 2009. She is a big girl and when she has recovered from ACL surgery, will weigh at least 100 lbs. She would do fine as the only dog in a household as long as she is not stuck out in the yard and ignored all day. She should be ready for adoption after the first of 2012, though she may still need to take it easy while her knee continues to heal, but she is wonderful in the house, so it should not be difficult to encourage her to be lazy. She probably should not be in a home with small children for now, though she would love them.
Spin Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
