Chanel is a designer original!!  We had her tested and found out she is half pyr and the other half a mix of German Shorthaired Pointer and Lab - Her undercoat is a beautiful myriad of colors.  She is somewhat cautious meeting strangers but will make friends after a few minutes of observation.  She takes her turn at barking to protect her property and let strangers, birds, insects, and falling leaves know that she is in charge.  She loves to play and chase the other dogs all around the yard.  Indoors she seems to be pretty well housebroken and sighs softly as she is being petted, but she is too polite to beg for attention.  She is quite an explorer and will need an owner who does not leave things where she can reach them.  However, she has a serious attitude and will be a loyal and committed protector of her home and family.  She was probably born around mid-November and is all ready for a permanent home now.  She may be smaller than a purebred pyr and weighs in the 60 to 7lb range, but still may grow.
