Bear is a sweet, energetic little boy who was found seriously undernourished (only 65#), so our first job was to get weight on him and help him learn that most humans are very kind.  We guesstimate his date of birth around January 20, 2010. He loves his cat and dog friends, loves to play, loves to walk on a leash and taps on the door to go out.  Though he has no human children to play with, it would be surprising if he did not love them as well.  What he needs besides lots of TLC and obedience training (!) is a big backyard to play in.  It is not surprising that he is food protective and also protective of his rawhide chewies, so it would be best to have these things available for him in a private area away from any other dogs.
