Ed is a very intelligent young dog, learning how to sit on command after being shown only 2 times. He loves everyone he meets and would follow you around all day if he could. He gets along with all of the other animals so far - cats, one bird and other dogs - he even gets along with the teen-aged boyfriend. He likes to wander the neighborhood though, and will need a secure 6 foot fence as he can go over a 4 foot fence.

When he first arrived at our home he didn't really know how a dog should behave, but has been learning from his 2 older companions since. He's learned the joy of dog biscuits, of doing things for his people, like sitting when asked - as this always brings a welcome ear scratch. He's full grown, but still acts a bit like a puppy, he loves to play with people and other animals and he's smart enough to not be too rough with anyone. He would be a great companion for other dogs as well.   He was probably born around March of 2008.
