Meet Peter!  Born February 1, 2023, Peter is a vibrant and spirited dog looking for an active family to call his own!

This handsome boy enjoys the simple pleasures in life – exploring on walks and zooming around the yard with boundless energy. While he may not be a big toy enthusiast, his enthusiasm for outdoor adventures more than makes up for it!

Peter has a confident personality and thrives on routine and clear expectations. Due to his strong-willed nature, he would do best as either the only dog in the household or with a more easy-going canine companion. He has been successfully cat-tested and gets along fine with feline friends.

The ideal home for Peter would be with an active family who can provide him with regular exercise and mental stimulation. He's not recommended for senior households due to his energy level. While he hasn't been tested with toddlers, his new family should be prepared to properly introduce him to all family members and establish healthy boundaries.

Peter is quite vocal and will certainly let you know when something exciting is happening! With consistent training and plenty of love, this charming boy will make a loyal and devoted companion.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.
