Meet Barry!  He is a gentle, dopey, loving Great Pyrenees, born August 31, 2024.  He will likely weigh 100 pounds when he is full-grown.

He walks beautifully on the leash, keeping a perfect strolling pace! If you’ve seen the Looney Toons’ “Beaky Buzzard,” that is totally Barry's personality..

Barry has a lot more of a Lab build and coat, but still total Pyr, couch potato energy!

He is sweet with people and good with other dogs. He hasn't been tested with cats, but his foster family thinks he would do well with them.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:
    1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.
     2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.
     3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.
     4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.
