This handsome young man joined the world on May 1, 2009. His foster dad picked him up at the shelter he found himself (through no fault of his own we might add) in on Halloween ~ one very scared toddler boy, he was so scared he had to be carried to the truck. He rode home under the back seat with a hamburger under his nose that was unsuccessful in capturing his attention.

But since then he has made amazing progress ~ he has learned that the house is a grand place to live and having humans and other dogs around is pretty neat too (Casper shows absolutely no interest in cats). On outings with his foster family he readily goes up to people for attention, especially small children. Casper really takes to the "little people".
