Fiona was born on July 1, 2006. And this lovely lady is the epitome of what all you Big White Dog lovers drool over ~ she's a beauty. Though unlike many of the male variety of those in her gene pool this gal rarely drools - simply too unladylike for Princess Fi.

She is acclimating to foster-family life quite well ~ learning the joys of chew toys and rawhides and getting along well with the other dogs in her new nest and even the cats. She is still a little unsure of strangers but offer an ear scratch and she warms up to you lickety-split.

Fiona is liking the benefits of family life - she has a dog bed that she uses almost exclusively - sleeping on the bare floor is just beneath a lady of her stature you see. She is taking her meals in a crate (mostly to keep the other bowl-surfing dogs from pirating away her kibble because she likes to nibble and snack on her food) and she doesn't mind the crate at all.

Fiona is going to be a wonderful family dog. She is ready, willing and oh so able to give and receive love and be your best friend and loyal companion.
