Sharif is an elegant young man with a wonderful dignity about him, but this regal appearance belies the playful, sometimes silly pup within.  He always attracts attention because of his beautiful eyes, tall slender build combined with rather long hair, especially on his legs and tail, and he welcomes the attention.  Born in February, 2009, he is a very gentle boy who just wants to do the right thing for his owner.  In crowds he will cross a room just to meet a child and sits contentedly while the child, no matter how young, pays attention to him.  He also gets along quite well with other dogs, very active and playful but content to follow a strong leader.  In a new home he probably would like to have another dog to hang out with.

He is totally housebroken and only occasionally checks out the contents of the wastebaskets, as most curious "teen-aged" dogs do, and sometimes enjoys sleeping on his human's bed.  Although very tall when he stands on his hind legs, he has not thought much about trying to jump or climb fences, but even so he probably needs one 6' tall.
