Born on December 27, 1999 our Winnie is a solid gold treasure in her golden years.

Winnie's human mommy died and poor Winnie not only lost the mommy she had known from puppyhood but her home too. This sweet matriarch is now safe in her new SPIN foster nest but she really needs a retirement home to spend the rest of her days being pampered and loved like the wonderful angel she is.

She moves just a bit on the slow side and will be the perfect companion for a 2-legged slow mover and not-so-shaker. Her only real quirk is that she sleeps in the bedroom with her humans and she is INSISTENT on that - will not accept any other arrangement. Winnie is a darling ole gal who has lots of love and life left to share and she is waiting for you to come and "discover" her!!

It is with great sadness that we move Winnie to Happy Tails. She didn't get the new family we had hoped she would but succumbed to her grief for her former family - missing her human mommy so much that she simply refused to go on without her. We can take comfort in knowing that Winnie had an outpouring of love from her SPIN foster family while she waiting to make her way across the Rainbow Bridge and back to her human mommy she missed so much. They are together now and WInnie is happy once more.
