Kid tested and approved. Cat tested and very much disapproved by the residing felines in her new foster home ~ as with all puppies this little gal only wants to have them play with her and simply CANNOT understand why this furry critter would NOT want to play with her, especially since they are the same size as her. All kidding aside, Lainey is simply a typical playful puppy.

She is VERY determined and VERY stubborn about breaking out of "puppy jail" ~ which is really a very comfortable place in her foster nest that she is confined to where pooing and peeing will do the least amount of damage while the "work in progress" potty training is underway.

Born on February 26, 2008 Lainey is sweet and lovable combined with puppy inquisitiveness ~ actually she is quite nosey ~ she was convinced that there was treasure buried under that puddle and wasn't going to quit digging til she got to it. Well, after the puddle incident foster mommy decided to buy a kiddie pool and our little Water Baby hopped right in and had the time of her life. Splashing and sticking her cute little snout under water scuba-diving for only she knows what and biting the water. Of course her love of the pool and water and the color a wet dog makes when she hits the dirt means that Lainey is generally a BLACK and WHITE Pyr most of the time. Lainey told foster mommy that pools are better than sliced rawhides and please to make sure her forever home has one for her to play in. And the word precocious must have been coined with her in mind. She is already trying to counter surf and has a VERY good noise and will follow any food smell to it's origin and of course then wants to eat whatever it is she smells. She also always wants the puppy food that is NOT in her bowl and stretches out with great determination trying to get the adult dog's food from it's raised doggie buffet.
