It is our pleasure to introduce you to Miss Sandy. She is around 3 years old and while possessing the gentleness and maturity of an adult dog still has the playfulness of a puppy combined with the exuberance for life that all dogs have.

Sandy is a Pyrenees mix, we are certain there are Pyr genes in the gene pool but only her mom and dad know for sure what the mix part is. What we are certain of is that no matter what the mix is comprised of she is totally wonderful, totally sweet and TOTALLY deserving of what has eluded her so far ~ the one thing that all dogs want, crave, need ~ a FOREVER home with a family of her very own.

Sandy loves being around people, loves to go for walks ~ walks like a perfect lady on a leash, stopping once in a while along the way to do this cute little doggie-jig. She is in dog heaven just whiling away time with "her" human by lying under a nice shade tree on her back with her head on their shoulder watching clouds drift by and catching a dognap on a warm afternoon. And if there should happen to be a few bread crusts for a picnic lunch ~ well Sandy is in Doggie Nervana!!!

Now since rescue dogs don't generally come with a portfolio tucked under their furry arm that includes their family tree and geneology and a day planner outlining where they have been and what they have been doing Sandy's past is pretty much a mystery BUT her future ~ well that can be a different story altogether. Her future can and will include spending days, nites, holidays with the most perfect family in the world ~ her family. The pages of her future scrapbook will include all of the things that families do together with Miss Sandy "insert your name here please" right smack dab in the middle of all the goings on. Will your family be the one that makes this sweet, gentle creature's dreams come true? Will your family be the one who receives the gift of her love, loyalty and companionship for the rest of her life?? Will your family be the one who makes her life complete???
