This handsome gentledog is 4 years old (birthday 1/4/04) and weighs in at 102 pounds. That's 102 pounds of pure love.

Duke loves being a "house dog" where he can be near his family. He has perfect house manners and limits his potty breaks to the back yard. He LOVES children but because of his size and his tendency to get excited at the thought of playing with them will need to be watched around smaller ones - this big ole lug could easily and accidently knock a little one over in his excitement.

He gets along well with other dogs and though he seems curious about cats he hasn't chased any.

Duke will sit or lay by your side all the day long simply contented as a clam to be near you and hopefully anticipating a hug or two. He does, however, have a real dislike for crates and sees no reason to have one. He is also an olympic quality escape artist and a secure 6' (at least) wooden fence is a MUST at his new digs to keep him safe and at home.

All this handsome gentle giant wants out of life is to have a family of his own to love and be loved on by. One face-to-face meet and greet with this boy and you will be head over heels in love and won't be able to live without him for one second more!!
