Yetti/Rusty is 4 years old and a puppy mill rescue. Now most of you have heard the horror stories about puppy mill girls and the life they are forced to endure - well let me tell you about this puppy mill boy.

Yetti/Rusty was confined to a crate for most of his four years, living in filth (mostly his own) and taken out only for "services rendered". When he was rescued he was caked in filth, his muscles had atrophied from lack of use and on top of all of this he was positive for the dreaded heartworms. In spite of his neglect he is still a wonderful dog - gentle and attentive, but he lacked energy and rarely smiled.

Well SPIN got him cleaned up and treated for those nasty heartworm buggars and NO more crate and two weeks after his hw treatment Yeti was a changed dog

Y/R is rarin' to go, he loves to patrol the fenceline at his foster home and warn all intruding boogars to stay away - Yetti/Rusty is on duty. He walks well on a leash and will come when called like any other Pyr (which translates into if he wants to come). Right now he is happier being outside than in though he does have nice house manners - well just think about it, if you had been confined in a small place nearly your whole life wouldn't you be appreciative of the freedom of the great outdoors. Y/R may change his mind a bit once he finds that perfect family and becomes a treasured family member, pampered and treated like the Prince he is. If there are to be 4-legged companions in his new home it would be better if they were all female, Y/R does not do well with male dogs - especially if they challenge him. He is a sweet, magnificent, handsome dog but he KNOWS he is destined to be "top dog" in his pack. He is a true treasure.
