Lily is between 2 and 3 years old. She came to SPIN in July '07 in pitiful shape. She had been chained outside all her life and was literally skin and bones, her coat was thin with big bare patches and she had fly and flea bites that left her with open sores. And on top of all this she had little or no positive human contact and was extremely fearful and unsocialized.

But that was Lily then and this is Lily NOW!!!

She is the most beautiful and gentle girl. Her sweet face has the most lovely, soft facial expressions you will ever see. Her hair is now dense, wavy and soft as white velvet. She is still quite shy but will play with a puppy in her foster home when she thinks no one is looking. She uses the dog door, lines up for treats and has not barked even once - not even once people.

Sweet Lily will make an exceptional addition to some lucky family who will appreciate her for the reserved, regal lady she is today. She has much love to give, she just needs "her" family to bestow all the love they have on her to coax it out. It's in there just begging to come out and be showered all over "her" humans.
