SPIN has a special needs dog. We would like to introduce you to Lili. Please read on.

If we would have to describe Lili in one word it would have to be neurotic. She has NEVER known a stable life. First she was rescued from a neglectful and abusive situation right after Hurricane Katrina and then while out for a walk with her foster mom she was attacked and torn up by a pit bull (and please people do NOT categorize all "pit bulls" by Lili's experience, they are as we all are a product of their enviornment).

She was adopted into a home with an aggressive dog and they fought often with Lili frequently coming out on losing end. This was no fault of hers as was none of the other sad circumstances of her life to this point. She is very sweet and well trained and likes cats and kids, but wants to have the dominant position in the pack when it comes to other dogs. She also does not want to share her food and needs to be fed seperately from other dogs - she does not show any aggression toward humans in this respect, in fact she is not aggressive toward humans at all and her guarding instincts are excellent.

Lili will need a special dog family with lots of dog experience. She is special, she is wonderful, she deserves the best that life can offer her. None of what has befallen Lili in her life is her fault, she needs someone who can help her to overcome what life has thrown her way and become the sweet and loving dog we know is buried inside her just waiting for the TLC to coax her out.
