Katy was 2 years old Christmas 2007 and is being fostered/trained as a Livestock Guard Dog or LGD for short.

Her foster parents report that she is good with goats. And she is good with other dogs, cats and children. She is NOT good around small baby fowl, chickens or ducks. She is a BIG and STRONG girl weighing in at around 140 pounds and is NOT afraid to take on any predators that mess with HER goats.

Katy would like to have her own "flock" to look after and her own family to look after too. So if you have some animals that need a guardian angel and a family that could use an angel too our Katy is ready, willing and able to come and ply the trade she is being trained for.
