Our Miss Belle is 3 years old and we are giving her a birthday of December 12, 2003 (everyone must have a special day each year for pampering, spoiling and celebrating). She is a little timid in new situations but she is getting comfortable here in her foster home. She does not sleep with her foster mom or the other dogs in the bedroom but has her favorite spot in the living room and sleeps there every night. She has perfect house manners but refuses to use the doggie door for potty purposes - it makes a loud clack noise and we think it frightens her. Belle is the perfect lady, she is marvelously well-behaved but not without her impish side - one shredded doggie blanket and one shredded newspaper that her foster mom forgot to pick up were the casualties. She loves to play with toys, she loves small dogs, she loves men and she LOVES children in a BIG WAY. Recently a 4 yr old came to visit and her eyes flew open wide and a huge doggie smile came across her face. She was unbelievably gentle and wanted every nanno-second of attention the tot was willing to give, she stood there like a perfect lady and let him pet her all over - doggie smiling the whole time. She is a little smaller than most gentle giants, weighing around 60 pounds, so we are going to call her a "petite" gentle giant. Like most of us girls though she has to watch her figure and can get just a bit "porky" so her foster mom recommends the feed twice a day method to help her maintain her svelte form. She has glorious thick soft white fur that simply begs to have hands run over it. She's a looker for sure, our Miss Belle. Wouldn't this stunning young lady just be the most marvelous new addition to some lucky family? Could your family be that lucky?? Belle has found the perfect home of her very own.
